gk-reid-profilePepper Tree Entertainment is proud to advise fashion stylist, production designer, costume designer and executive  producer GK Reid with the launch of his first fashion collection Genghis Khan.

GK is best known for styling and designing fashions and accessories for Lady Gaga for a series of photographs in homage to Hello Kitty, for Lady Gaga’s The Fame  Monster (deluxe edition),  Book of Gaga 2009, and for Hello Kitty’s 35th anniversary campaign.

He has also designed fashions for and styled celebrity style icon Daphne Guinness for feature stories in the London Sunday Times, the New York Times Magazine, Muse Magazine, and The Observer. GK’s work was also central to the creation of an ad campaign which centered around Ms. Guinness’ Barneys New York window performance art piece. GK’s work was also featured in the “Daphne Guinness Exhibition” at the New York Fashion Institute of Technology museum from September through January 2012.

Moreover, GK is responsible for styling Rihanna‘s album covers for “Good Girl Gone Bad” and “Umbrella“.Reid has styled Anne Hathaway, Katie Holmes, Eva Mendes, Julianne Moore, Mary J. Blige, Lindsay Lohan, and supermodels Naomi Campbell and Iman for magazine covers. He has styled and designed fashions for Jennifer Lopez for her album covers, music videos, and Billboard cover, Beyoncé for campaigns including L’Oreal, Britney Spears for music videos,Kim Kardashian, Alicia Keys, Janelle Monae, Jaden Smith Willow Smith, and Carla Bruni-Sarkozy.

Reid is also responsible for Mariah Carey‘s style transformation for her best-selling album The Emancipation of Mimi and styled her perfume commercial directed by Peter Lindbergh. GK has also styled Tim Gunn for the cover of his book “Tim Gunn: A Guide to Quality Taste and Style”, Ryan Seacrest, Kanye West, Usher, Elijah Woods, Val Kilmer, Puff Daddy for music videos, and David Bowie for several album covers and magazines including covers of Rolling Stone and GQ. Reid was executive producer and styled David Bowie’s music video for Valentine’s Day.

GK has worked with numerous magazines including V Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, New York Times Magazine, Vanity Fair, GQ, Interview, Flaunt, Vogue, Rolling Stone, and i.D. and has styled numerous ad campaigns for L’Oreal, Pepsi, Hugo Boss as well as many fashion shows. He has worked as wardrobe designer and/or production designer on many commercials, music videos and films. Reid has worked with world-famous photographers (Peter Lindbergh, Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, Markus Klinko and Indrani), top-notch directors (Anthony Mandler, Michael Haussman, and Diane Martel) and numerous magazines (V Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, New York Times magazine, Vanity Fair, GQ, Interview, Flaunt, Vogue, and Rolling Stone).  GK’s commercial clients include L’Oreal, Pepsi, and Hugo Boss.
