Congratulations to Pepper Tree Entertainment client Indrani Pal-Chaudhuri who won for “The Legend of Lady White Snake,” at the La Jolla Fashion Film Festival! The film won Best Picture, and Indrani collected 4 of the 8 awards — including Best Director, Best Fashion, and Best Special Effects.
In addition to being a film-maker, Indrani Pal-Chaudhuri is also internationally known for her iconic imagery and charitable work. Born in Calcutta, India, Indrani traveled the world as a fashion model before graduating from Princeton University with a magna cum laude with a degree in cultural anthropology. Indrani developed her photography career alongside partner Markus Klinko. Their imagery was discovered by David Bowie and Isabella Blow, and in time, other clients came to include Vanity Fair, Lancome, L’Oreal, Barneys, Nike and Pepsi, Anne Hathaway, Kate Winslet, Eva Mendes, Lady Gaga, Beyonce Knowles, Katie Holmes, Jennifer Lopez, Keanu Reeves, Will Smith, Jay-Z, Usher, Kanye West, and Ryan Seacrest amongst many other A-list entities and individuals.
